This semi automatic horizontal drum tong is specifically designed to handle drums while they are positioned horizontally. Its design is simple, yet highly efficient, as it relies on the weight of the drums to prevent any slippage from occurring.

It is designed for lifting 210 litre drums horizontally and is suitable for open top or tight head steel drum, and plastic drums with L or XL ring.
Featuring an all steel construction, this economical drum lifter is painted in yellow for added visibility.

To operate the user sets the locking lever in the locked open position, when central over the horizontal drum, release lever to allow hooks to fall and locate under both rims.
The hooks automatically engage when lifted and disengage as drum is set down.
