I'll be honest — I never thought I'd be writing a love letter to a karabiner, yet here we are.
I work in soft play installations, which means I spend an uncomfortable amount of time clipping myself to padded and wrapped steel frameworks at height, trying not to think too hard about what's keeping me up there.
